Mr Ken Chadwick was lost, presumed drowned when the five metre aluminium vessel was rolled by a wave as the vessel headed into a small rocky inlet. Three survivors were rescued by helicopter after being found by a searching aircraft but Mr Chadwick, the designer of the vessel, was last seen clinging to the sinking upturned boat.
